Montargil Monte Novo is located in the Alto Alentejo (upper Alentejo), in the village of Montargil. It’s in the municipality of Ponte de Sor, 95 km from Lisbon — a drive of about an hour and a half — on the bank of the Montargil Dam reservoir. This is where Alentejo’s warm land is bathed by the cool and calm waters of the great lake. Everything was thought out with heart and a firm desire to share this paradise, by offering unique and unforgettable moments. Our invitation to you includes resting with the background sound of birds chirping, enjoying the richness of the Alentejo cuisine and trying a variety of activities on land or even in the water!

The private villa was immaculate and the resort was beyond my expectations.the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for myself and 2 friends. Food was unreal and very tasty. I cant say enough.secret gem!will be back for sure

A stunning hotel, and location. Wonderful staff, amazing rooms so tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. Bar, lounge, and dining area overlook the Montargil Dam reservoir. Lovely outside decked area to enjoy the wide variety of beverages available. Dinner was the Chef’s surprise, so no menu but fantastic local produce, and enjoyed by us all (7 of us!!). Again, the breakfast spread amazing. We only stayed 1 night but will be returning for sure. – Paul, Espanha
